Arcadia is situated about 14 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Santa Anita Park itself is vast, encompassing 320 acres. It’s bordered by Huntington Drive, Baldwin Avenue, Colorado Street, and Colorado Place.

Getting to Santa Anita Park

The major freeways that give access to Santa Anita Park are

  • the Foothill Freeway (I-210) on the north
  • San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) on the south
  • the San Gabriel River (I-605) and Orange (57) Freeways on the east
  • the Pasadena (110) and Glendale (2) Freeways on the west

Getting There from Airports

Three airports are located within 30 miles of Santa Anita Park. They include Los Angeles International Airport, Hollywood-Burbank Airport and Ontario Airport.

From Los Angeles International Airport

To reach Santa Anita from Los Angles International Airport, which is 30 miles away,

  • take the Century Freeway (105) east to the Harbor Freeway (110)
  • take the Harbor Freeway north to Orange Grove in Pasadena
  • turn left on Orange Grove and continue to the I-210 Freeway east
  • exit at Baldwin and turn right

From Hollywood-Burbank Airport

Hollywood-Burbank Airport is located 21 miles from Santa Anita Park. From the airport, take the Golden State Freeway (I-5) south to the 134 Freeway east. The 134 Freeway will become the I-210 Freeway east. Exit at Baldwin and turn right.

From Ontario Airport

Ontario Airport is located 30 miles from Santa Anita Park. From the airport, take the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) west to the (I-57) north, and then to the (I-210) Freeway west. Exit at Baldwin. Turn right on Foothill and then turn right again on Baldwin.
