Raced on dirt over a distance of 1 1/16 miles, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies is one of the most important races for emerging thoroughbred fillies in the United States. 2008 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies
The award-winning filly Stardom Bound won the 2008 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, and has since gone on to win numerous races in her 3-year-old season, including the Santa Anita Oaks and the Las Virgenes Stakes. Kent Desormeaux’s Dream Empress came in at second place while Ramon Dominguez rode Sky Diva to third place.
