The Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies is a Grade 1 race for two-year-old fillies. Raced on dirt over a distance of 1 1/16 miles, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies is one of the most important races for emerging thoroughbred fillies in the United States. The 2009 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies is sponsored by Grey Goose Vodka and will award a purse of $1 million.

2008 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies
The award-winning filly Stardom Bound won the 2008 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, and has since gone on to win numerous races in her 3-year-old season, including the Santa Anita Oaks and the Las Virgenes Stakes. Kent Desormeaux’s Dream Empress came in at second place while Ramon Dominguez rode Sky Diva to third place.
